Originally from the Seattle area, David moved to Steamboat in 2011 and started Flying Z Painting in 2013. Having come from working for one of the largest painting companies in the country, his experience was perfect for Steamboat’s diverse painting/staining world. Things have changed since moving to Steamboat (almost 10 years ago) after meeting his wife Sam and with two young children, Charlotte and Theo. David is a fixture with customers and crews from initial meeting to finished product.

Pat is originally from PA and moved to Steamboat in 2011. After joining Flying Z in 2017, Pat has grown quickly with the company with his hard work, ingenuity, and problem-solving. Customers are thrilled with Pat’s communication and unrelenting focus on quality. Pat takes care of day-to-day operations and works directly with customers and crews in ensuring a fantastic experience and finished product. He’s a lucky guy too, with his wife Jia!

Brandon is originally from North Conway, New Hampshire, and moved to Steamboat in 2015. Brandon joined Flying Z in 2017 and brings a level of positivity and crazy work ethic not common these days. Brandon runs crews and assists in the overall operation of the business. His customers rave about his thorough communication and ridiculous attention to detail with all that he and his crews do. This is the guy you want painting your home or taking care of your baby. He’s that good!
